The municipality of Bolinao supports the celebration of the National Tourism Week 2011. It is a one week celebration from September 16 – 30 2011 with the theme: World’s Wetlands Day 2011, Forest of Water and Wetland. Some exciting activities like mangrove and tree planting activities, amateur digital photography contest and fun run for a cause were prepared for the said celebration.
One of the most exciting events in the celebration was the fun run for a cause 2011(takbo para sa turismo) which is celebrated last September 16, 2011 at Bolinao Pangasinan. Aside from the health benefit of this fun run event, it is also a good example of solidarity of the people where you can see the spirit of volunteerism of all people of Bolinao join forces to promote environmental preservation through a benefit fun run.
Bolinao National Tourism Week Celebration 2011 events and activities are also included in the Pangasinan Tourism Month 2011 – event list.
