Bangrin Mangrove Farm is one of the famous eco-tourism destinations in Bani. The Bangrin Marine Protected Area is one of the 13 bird watching sites in the Philippines identified by the Department of Tourism. Bangrin Marine Protected (Bangrin MPA) is comprised of 42.25 hectare mangrove forest. It is home to 53 species of migratory and indigenous birds, according to the Local Economic Development arm of the Department of Interior and Local Government. According to the most recent assessment of the Bani’s Agricultural Office, there are now 150+ bird species in Bangrin!
A 450 meters boardwalk was constructed across the area for visitors and nature-lovers. Activities such as bird watching, boat paddling, board walking, forest adventure, fishing are offered in the area. Bird watching activities can be done before sunrise as well as before sundown. The best time to visit Bangrin Marine Protected Area (MPA) on December to February.

- Follow Romulo Highway
- Tarlac – Pangasinan Road

- Bani Road Regional Highway 5
- Head west on Burgos St toward Regional Highway 5
- Turn right at the 1st cross street onto Regional Highway 5

How to get to Bangrin Mangrove Farm (Marine Protected Area) from Manila Via Bolinao or Alaminos City Pangasinan
- From manila Bus Station (Cubao or Pasay) ride a bus to Bolinao Pangasinan.
- Travel time roughly 6 hours.You may take Victory Liner Bus or Five Star Bus.
- Tell the driver to drop you off at town proper of Bani Municipal Town Hall. (From Manila riding a bus going to Bolinao and drop you off at Bani Municipal Town Hall is more convenient for commuters but just in case there’s no available bus direct trips to Bolinao, you can get a bus going to Alaminos City Pangasinan and ride a minibus or van in front of CSI Mall Alaminos Branch and tell the driver to drop you off at Bani Municipal Town Hall.
- From Bani Town proper, hire a tricycle going to Pataga Fish Port.
- From Pataga Fish Port hire a motorboat going to the Bangrin Marine Protected Area (Bangrin MPA).
